Ryan C. Baker, M.D.

Dr. Ryan Baker completed his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology, and his medical doctorate from the University of Oklahoma. He then completed his surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.

Dr. Baker is trained in all aspects of adult general urology and utilizes the minimally invasive DaVinci robot to perform most abdominal surgeries. He treats both benign and malignant urologic conditions, and has a particular interest in treating benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) with newer surgical techniques such as Rezūm, UroLift, robotic-assisted simple prostatectomy (RASP), and green light laser prostatectomy.

Dr. Baker’s practice is currently based out of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a level one trauma center and one of largest hospitals in the DFW metroplex. He lives nearby with his wife and two dogs (Ranger & Maverick) in the Oak Cliff/Bishop Arts area. His hobbies/interests include college football, Dallas Stars hockey, golf, soccer, lake trips, and snow skiing.
