Michelle L. McDonald, M.D.

Dr. Michelle McDonald completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas at Austin. She then completed her Medical Doctorate at the University of Texas health Science Center in San Antonio where she graduated Alpha Omega Alpha, the highest medical honors. Following this, she went on to complete her surgical internship and urology residency at University of California San Diego. Next, she finished an intense two-year fellowship in surgical kidney transplantation at UCLA, one of the largest transplant centers in the country.

Dr. McDonald is trained in all areas of adult urology including complex open surgery and minimally invasive surgery. She treats both benign and malignant urologic diseases in both women and men. Additionally, she has an interest in functional medicine including disease prevention and longevity.

Dr. McDonald currently practices out of Methodist Dallas Medical Center, a level one trauma center. She lives in Dallas with her partner, his two daughters, their son, dog, and 2 cats. She enjoys a plant-based lifestyle, volunteering at the Humane Society of Dallas, weight training, design/décor, and watching college football.
