Robert Brunner, M.D.
Dr. Brunner is a general urologist serving patients at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Born and raised in Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Brunner brings a strong academic background and extensive training to his practice. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame with a dual degree in Economics and Pre-professional studies before earning his medical doctorate from the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Following medical school, Dr. Brunner completed his residency training in Urology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. During his residency, he received comprehensive training in all aspects of adult urology, with a specialized focus on stone disease as well as robotic surgery utilizing the DaVinci robotic system. He is dedicated to treating both benign and malignant urologic diseases and has a keen interest in utilizing robotic technology to enhance surgical precision and patient recovery.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Brunner enjoys living in Dallas with his wife and their English bulldog, Finnegan. In his leisure time, he is an avid sports enthusiast with interests in basketball, golf, running, swimming, hiking, and cheering on his alma mater, Notre Dame, in football. With a passion for both patient care and advancing the field of Urology, Dr. Brunner is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients.
