Urology Clinics of North Texas is pleased to welcome Dr. Christopher Anthony Cefalu to McKinney, TX. Dr. Cefalu completed his undergraduate education, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, from Centenary College of Louisiana. After obtaining his medical doctorate from Louisiana State University, Dr. Cefalu completed his surgical internship and training at the Urology program at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.

Dr. Cefalu is trained in all aspects of general adult urology and will utilize robotic techniques for most major oncologic surgery including prostate, bladder, and kidney cancer. His training and interest include minimally invasive surgery for both benign and malignant conditions, including the use of the DaVinci Robot. Dr. Cefalu has researched and published in the field of reconstructive urology/prosthetics and has a special interest in the surgical reconstruction of both the urethra and the upper urinary tract.

Dr. Cefalu and his wife Audrey Cefalu are originally from Shreveport Louisiana and have two children, Elizabeth and Benjamin. His hobbies include golf, cooking, gardening, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors.

Dr. Cefalu is committed to providing excellent patient care using advanced surgical techniques to optimize patient outcomes. He is available and is always accepting new patients.
